A supportive and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with children who require additional support to access learning manage emotions and develop independence within a mainstream primary setting.
You will be working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) SEMH needs ADHD and mild to moderate learning difficulties. Support may be delivered on a 1:1 basis or through small group interventions depending on pupil needs and EHCP requirements.

Provide consistent SEN support within the classroom and intervention spaces
Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Assist with differentiated learning activities and curriculum access
Promote communication social interaction and independence
Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and support plans
Work closely with teachers SENCo and external professionals
Support pupils during transitions breaktimes and structured routines
Maintain accurate observations and contribute to SEN reviews
Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
Calm patient and resilient approach to challenging situations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to follow structured behaviour and SEN support plans
A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development
Willingness to engage in training and professional development
Candidates with backgrounds in education childcare psychology youth work or care are encouraged to apply.
