A well-regarded and inclusive primary school in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a highly supportive school environment where SEN provision and pupil wellbeing are prioritised.
You will be working with pupils who present with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) speech and language needs ADHD and mild to moderate learning difficulties. Support will be provided on a 1:1 basis and through small group interventions ensuring pupils are able to access learning in a meaningful and inclusive way.
This school has a strong inclusive ethos and serves a diverse local community. The SEN provision is well-established with clear systems strong leadership and a proactive SENCo who works closely with teaching and support staff.

Provide tailored SEN support within the classroom and intervention settings
Support pupils with communication emotional regulation and engagement
Assist with differentiated learning activities
Promote positive behaviour and social interaction
Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and support plans
Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times
Monitor and record pupil progress and engagement
Work collaboratively with teachers SENCo and external professionals
Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
Calm patient and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of inclusive practice and behaviour support
Willingness to engage in training and professional development
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Candidates with backgrounds in education childcare psychology youth work or care are encouraged to apply.
