An inclusive and well-resourced primary school in Camden is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This role is suited to candidates who are confident supporting pupils with a combination of learning communication and emotional needs within a mainstream primary setting.
You will work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 supporting children with Autism SEMH needs learning difficulties and sensory processing challenges. Support will include a mix of 1:1 work and small group interventions delivered in collaboration with teachers and specialist staff.

The school works closely with external agencies including educational psychologists speech and language therapists and behaviour specialists ensuring a holistic approach to pupil support.
Support pupils with complex SEN needs within the classroom
Assist with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Support communication and social development
Help pupils access learning through differentiated support
Implement EHCP targets and behaviour plans
Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times
Record observations and contribute to SEN reviews
Work collaboratively with teachers SEN staff and external professionals
