A large transportation and infrastructure organization is seeking an Engineering Technology Systems Analyst to support its Engineering Department. This role is responsible for delivering technology insights and technical guidance to senior management while providing hands-on system support across engineering teams.
The position collaborates closely with Technology and Cybersecurity teams to evaluate test and approve new software applications and cloud platforms ensuring compliance with functionality compatibility and security standards. Responsibilities also include supporting network infrastructure maintaining existing systems managing cloud-based storage and assisting engineering project teams with data management solutions.
Administer and support engineering-specific software and systems including:
Bluebeam Revu and Bluebeam Org Admin Pro
Autodesk Construction Cloud (Client) Revit
Leica Cyclone Enterprise
Base Map Management Service (BMMS)
Nearmap
Esri ArcGIS Pro
Coordinate deployment and version upgrades of engineering software platforms (Autodesk Bluebeam Leica etc.)
Customize application features to align with engineering workflows and project requirements
Evaluate new software and hardware technologies used in engineering environments
Partner with Technology and Cybersecurity teams to review software requests
Prepare analysis reports and recommendations for senior management
Manage Microsoft Azure-based storage for engineering project data archiving
Support engineering project data workflows and 3D scanned point cloud data storage systems
Maintain and update system documentation
Support staff onboarding and deliver training sessions on engineering tools and platforms
Lead internal Knowledge Bar presentations to promote best practices and tool capabilities
Troubleshoot application-level issues and resolve support tickets
Implement minor functional enhancements based on user feedback
Participate in client and interdepartmental meetings to gather requirements and share updates
Collaborate regularly with Engineering senior management on strategy roadmaps and evolving needs
Lead task planning prioritization and coordination across stakeholders
10 years of experience supporting the AEC (Architecture Engineering Construction) industry
Strong experience with AutoCAD Revit and Navisworks Management
Extensive background in document management systems and project information management
Experience supporting Engineering Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) teams
Familiarity or hands-on experience with Azure cloud technologies including Azure Data Lake storage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI for reporting and visualization
5 years of experience with PDF and markup tools including Adobe Acrobat Pro and Bluebeam Revu
Strong system analysis skills including reporting on software license utilization
5 years of experience managing engineering project data and point cloud storage environments
Excellent organizational time management and prioritization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) certification.
