Profile Summary

We are looking for a VP to join our eSales team in London.

Duties and Responsibilities

Partner and work with Head of Digital Global Markets to:

  • Build a low-touch model enabling clients to trade electronically across all products with Mizuho
  • Partner with the voice sales coverage to drive overall volume via ETrading performance analysis
  • Address any unique client requests that need to be facilitated to enable business partnering with technology and other support functions as appropriate
  • Own the relationship with major Fixed Income platforms and to understand own position in the market and identify potential opportunities.
  • Understand and develop the existing MHI e-Sales platforms including improving the efficiency of the process and ensuring ownership is appropriate and relevant
  • Analyse data to assess trends and opportunities and help utilise this to drive the strategic development of the e-Sales initiative
  • Engage with affiliate counterparts in New York Hong Kong and Tokyo to support their development where appropriate and globalise our offering

Qualifications Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • Great organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • In-depth Knowledge of how e-Sales platforms operate across Credit and Rates flow products
  • Experience of managing major Fixed income eTrading venue relationships
  • Client facing experience and driving client voice demand via eTrading performance analysis
  • Demonstrable ability to innovate support change and problem solve
  • Collaborative nature to contribute to a successful team performance
  • High level of computer literacy and skills in data manipulation / presentation
