Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join our dynamic team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a Waiter in our establishment you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Greet and seat guests promptly providing menus and answering questions about menu items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders ensuring timely and efficient service
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay orders and special requests
- Present and serve food and beverages in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables service areas and dining room
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Adhere to all food safety hygiene and sanitation guidelines
- Stay informed about menu changes daily specials and promotions
- Assist with side work duties such as restocking supplies and rolling silverware
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to memorize menu items and make informed recommendations
- Food handling certification preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Knowledge of local customs and etiquette in Riyadh Saudi Arabia preferred
