Job Summary
Sofitel Riyadh is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Officer to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our luxurious establishment. The Hygiene Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff by implementing and monitoring hygiene practices and standards in accordance with local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement hygiene policies and procedures.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with hygiene standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular hygiene inspections and audits of all areas including kitchens restaurants guest rooms and public areas.
- Ensure all hygiene practices meet the standards of local health authorities and international best practices.
- food safety and hygiene practices in all food and beverage outlets.
- Ensure proper sanitation of kitchen equipment utensils and work areas.
- Oversee pest control measures and liaise with pest control services.
- Prepare and submit hygiene reports to the management team.
- Document and follow up on corrective actions for any hygiene-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to address any hygiene-related hazards or risks.
- Participate in health and safety committee meetings and initiatives.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the property.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Food Science Environmental Health or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of local and international hygiene standards and regulations.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
