We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team of geotechnical specialists in Brisbane. Reporting to the Discipline Leader you will provide geotechnical support and services to clients to ensure the successful completion of project/s nationally.

The role will include:
- Managing a range of geotechnical projects across all life stages locally and nationally.
- Ensuring successful project delivery is aligned with schedule and budget for key client base.
- Conducting geotechnical analyses geological and geotechnical modelling and detailed design.
- Preparation of project deliverables inclusive of management of project financials technical report writing and associated administrative tasks.
- Undertaking site investigation supervision and construction support inspections.
- Preparing project proposals that drive innovative practical and sustainable outcomes for clients.
- Participating in ongoing client management and supporting business development activities.
- Playing an active role in the wider team through regular meetings workshops training and business planning.
Qualifications :
Ideally you will have 7 years of experience in a similar technical role within industry or consulting with a background in the resources addition to this you will also have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- RPEQ and CPENG highly desired but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience working on projects within the resources industry with experience in water infrastructure management (tailings dams).
- Demonstrated competence in project management for medium to large projects and detailed design ability
- Knowledge of ANCOLD guidelines.
- Proven ability to work through project identification in conjunction with clients to determine solutions and appropriate risk assessment to the needs of the client.
- Ability to travel as required to site (Central and Northern QLD) as and when required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
