Allied Universal Janitorial Services an Allied Universal Company is hiring a Metal Apprentice 1. The Metal Apprentice 1 will perform cleaning and maintenance for various metals as prescribed by routine and custom metal maintenance programs. Allied Universal Janitorial Services is a Union signatory in good standing of the Painters District Council No. 14 IUPAT AFL-CIO. On the job training is provided.

Metal Division with Allied Universal Janitorial Services

Wage is $20.89 / hour Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 1:00am

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean polish and highlight of all types of metals
• Perform architectural bronze stainless steel and aluminum refinishing
• Clean and coat exterior metal curtain wall building facade
• Apply of high-performance paints and coatings
• Perform custom tailored metal maintenance programs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid drivers license if driving a company or customer supplied vehicle
• No experience required
• No prior knowledge or skills are required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Stone restoration knowledge
• Work or training experience involving refinishing of architectural metals (revolving doors) window frames elevators and escalators etc.
