Job Title: Glasshouse - Technician 1

Location: Research Triangle Park NC 27409

Duration: 6 Months

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type: Onsite

Job Description:

Duties:

Hand watering fertilizing and plant maintenance
Sampling transplanting pollinating and discarding plants
Planting harvesting shelling and counting seeds
Assist with data collection and plant performance observations
May include weekend and holiday hours

Skills:

Greenhouse experience preferred
Ability to perform all physical duties required in greenhouse operations under
adverse conditions
Demonstrated ability and motivation to work in unsupervised situations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment and adherence to excellent stewardship practices
Ability to use MS office software and other databases efficiently

Education:

BS degree or equivalent in agronomy horticulture or plant science related field or an
Associate degree with 2 years of experience in plant biology
