Organizational:Frequent contact with MAC IT Revenue & Business Development Staff Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement Staff and other MAC personnel
External:Frequent contact with MAC staff tenants vendors contractors and MAC consultants
JOB DUTIES
Data Analytics
- Coordinate and help prioritize data collection and analysis efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze data and performance measures to provide actionable insights and recommendations to increase revenue streams and improve passenger experience.
- Understand the business demands of the airport concessions program and anticipate data needs. Translate business needs into functional requirements. Propose analysis and reports to meet the business objectives.
- Leverage automated anomaly detection models using analytics tools to flag data discrepancies and improve accuracy of integrated datasets.
- Partner with MAC Concession Managers to assist in holding tenants and other outside partners accountable to MAC data standards and data-related contractual obligations.
- Interact with division teams and management staff to provide data analysis and data delivery as needed.
- Act as a resource for applying machine learning and predictive analytics to KPI analysis enabling proactive business development strategies.
- Represent the division where assigned for business interests on enterprise-wide data related business process improvements.
- Identify and develop dashboards and reports to depict operational status against key performance indicators and other data initiatives.
- Use tools such as Power BI or other visualization tools to build and implement predictive analysis solutions to forecast trends and outcomes; evaluate performance and adjust as needed.
- Create and convey clear and meaningful visualizations such as charts and graphs to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in business statistics mathematics or related field.
- Four years of experience performing quantitative research and analysis.
- In lieu of a degree eight years of experience performing quantitative research and analysis.
- Excellent written and presentation communication skills.
- Advanced skill level using Microsoft Power BI Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with machine learning techniques (e.g. regression classification clustering time-series forecasting) for predictive analytics and business insights.
- Ability to design train and evaluate predictive models and integrate them into dashboards or reporting tools.
- Understanding data engineering concepts including ETL pipelines and handling large datasets in cloud environments (Azure AWS GCP).
- Understanding of relational databases and experience with querying languages (e.g. SQL).
- Demonstrated ability to format and lay out complex data into clean clear and concise reports and graphical presentations.
- Experience researching and analyzing complex issues and providing actionable recommendations based on analysis.
- Ability to work independently with limited work direction.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong troubleshooting research and analysis skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical information to the end users in an easily understood manner.
- Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle to commute between job sites.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Masters degree in statistics mathematics computer science information technology or related field.
- Experience performing analysis for a large commercial environment or hub airport.
- Experience in survey design and fieldwork.
- Experience in qualitative research.
- Programming & ML Libraries: Python or R.
- AI in Business Context: Applying Machine Learning towards revenue optimization sales data and passenger experience prediction.
- Model Evaluation: Skills in cross-validation performance metrics (precision recall RMSE etc.) and model tuning.
