Dakota State University is seeking applications for several part-time non-benefit eligible Facility Workers to work 15-19 hours per week. The position is responsible for the custodial care and minor maintenance at the Community Center or other campus buildings. Hours would consist of days evenings and/or weekends. Flexibility to cover some holidays is a must.
Responsibilities:
Floor care including vacuuming mopping scrubbing waxing and shampooing carpets.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Collect and remove trash from building.
Dust and wash walls woodwork and windows (inside and out).
Remove snow from steps and sidewalks near buildings.
Moving furniture.
Set-up and clean-up of campus events.
Successful candidate must be able to:
Follow written and oral instructions.
Stand for extended periods of time.
Work with students staff and the public courteously.
Work independently.
Lift 50 pounds.
Bend stretch climb ladders twist and walk.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available for this position.)
