Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Time: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Days: Monday Friday
Approximately: 7.5 working hours per day
Compensation
Pay Range: $82$90 per hour (Local)
Pay rate will be determined based on years of relevant experience.
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Pharmacist I to provide safe effective and timely pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment. The Pharmacist I is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications monitoring patient drug therapies and delivering clinical and pharmacological guidance to multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This role ensures compliance with institutional policies regulatory requirements and best clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Monitor and evaluate patient medication therapies for safety effectiveness and appropriateness
Provide pharmacological guidance to physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals
Address formulary and non-formulary medication inquiries in accordance with hospital policies
Make dosing and therapeutic recommendations based on patient age pharmacokinetics and clinical literature
Educate patients on medication usage dosing schedules side effects and potential drug interactions
Document clinical interventions and medication-related activities in the electronic health record (EHR)
Ensure adherence to regulatory safety and quality standards
Support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced inpatient setting
Qualifications
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a U.S.-accredited School of Pharmacy
02 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist
Inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with infusion-related systems and electronic health records (EHRs)
