Responsibilities
Bag Machine Operator
Tolleson AZ
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and designated Shift Leads this positionis responsible foroperating bag line equipmentin order toproduce printed and functional paperbags following quality specifications.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
- Setup andoperatebag machine(s) and support equipment to convertpaperto bags
- Read and verify line orders/dockets
- Understandprintingjob requirements bythe specifications
- Set up the bag line by loadingpaperand adjusting for size
- Mount cylindersadjustspressuretensionsandadjustsdistribution of ink
- Trouble shoot stoppages and breakdowns
- Perform quality checks of material being produced and related documentation
- Responsibility for food safety and GMPs
- Complete daily production paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
- Ability to work12 hourdayand night rotating shift
- Work overtime as
- Satisfactorily completes training courses asdeterminedby management
- Abilityperformthe essential functions of the job withourwithout accommodation
