Salary range:25k-30k

Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Computer Teacher to join our dynamic education team dedicated to nurturing young minds from Class 1st to 6th. This role is pivotal in introducing foundational digital literacy and computational thinking to early learners in a structured engaging and age-appropriate manner.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging age-appropriate computer science lessons for students in Classes 1st to 6th aligned with the curriculum.
Introduce basic computer concepts such as keyboarding mouse skills file management and safe internet usage.
Teach foundational programming and logical thinking using child-friendly platforms like Scratch Blockly or similar tools.
Utilize multimedia and interactive tools (e.g. smart boards educational apps) to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Education (with Computer specialization) or a related field.
25 years of teaching experience in primary education preferably in computer or IT instruction.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Google Workspace and basic coding platforms (e.g. Scratch).
Demonstrated ability to teach technical concepts to young learners using simple visual and interactive methods.
