Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage vendor payments ensure GST and TDS compliance and handle B2B billing. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records coordinating with vendors and supporting statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Payments:
Process and manage payments to vendors ensuring accuracy timely settlements and compliance with agreements.
& TDS Compliance:
- File monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1 GSTR-3B) and ensure timely payment of taxes.
- File monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1 GSTR-3B) and ensure timely payment of taxes.
- Handle TDS deductions issue TDS certificates and file returns (Form 26Q).
- Ensure adherence to GST regulations including invoicing and input tax credit management.
3.B2B Billing:
- Manage B2B invoicing with proper tax structuring and documentation.
- Coordinate with operations for accurate billing details and follow up on receivables.
& Reporting:
- Perform monthly vendor and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare MIS reports for management review and support audit preparations.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain vendor documents ensure statutory filings are up-to-date and assist in internal/external audits.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in accounts payable GST TDS and B2B billing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books preferred) and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Indian tax laws (GST TDS) and compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems and automating accounting processes.
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and ability to handle deadlines.
- Excellent communication for vendor coordination and internal collaboration.
