This position supports students across the district by providing psychological evaluations direct counseling data-driven interventions and collaborative problem-solving with teachers families and school-based teams. The ideal candidate is committed to equity student well-being and high-quality clinical practice within a diverse multilingual ResponsibilitiesEvaluations & ReportingConduct psychological evaluations and recommend diagnostic clear compliant and comprehensive interpretive reports aligned with district state and federal assessment data to identify learning developmental and behavioral needs and develop appropriate Support & CounselingProvide individual and group counseling to support students emotional behavioral and social with teachers regarding student needs and strategies to improve learning and with the implementation of district programs and behavioral support & Team ParticipationServe as a member of Evaluation Teams IEP Teams and MTSS teams helping ensure meetings are scheduled documented and closely with teachers families administrators and outside agencies to support student with the coordination of Qualified Professional Teams for evaluations and IEP in school or district-level crisis response & DocumentationMaintain accurate case records and manage referral and tracking all documentation meets state regulations and district case managers and ensure meetings stay on track including taking or assigning minutes as EngagementCollaborate with Rhode Island College intern candidates through the CF/RIC Innovation Lab in ongoing professional development and maintain adherence to state and federal laws ethics and standards governing school additional duties as assigned by district RequirementsQualificationsValid Rhode Island certification as a School Psychologist.
