We are looking for a Student Assistant to join the Area Germany Team in Hamburg from March/April 2026.
Your main tasks will include:
- Supporting the Business Development Team in preparation for the SMM - one of the largest maritime exhibitions globally
- End-to-End strategic planning of client meetings during the week of SMM
- Supporting the Business Development Manager with any ad-hoc requests
- Willingness to attend the SMM from 1-4 of September 2026
- Administrative assistant and organizational tasks upon request
- Keeping a close communication with the maritime communications team on SMM Stand logistics for your own planning

Qualifications- Enrolled student with Business Administration Communications or other relevant field
- Availability until end of September 2026
- Familiar with the current MS office package
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills German fluency is of benefit
- Availability for 20 working hours per week
- Good communication and organizational skills
- DIY Mentality & not afraid to take initiative
This role is mainly focused on supporting the Business Development Team with their presence at SMM which takes part in September 2026. There is a possibility to remain on board after September to support in the Area Germany Finance Team with invoicing & additional administrative tasks.
Security and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which we operate is essential for checks will be conducted on all final candidates as part of the offer process in accordance with applicable country-specific laws and practices.
