Data Engineer (Fractional)

Job Description:
You will join an experienced team of startup operators to maintain a modern data stack and deliver business-critical insights. As a fractional Data Engineer you will manage Dataform projects build modular models for enterprise partnerships and ensure seamless data activation via Segment to power essential customer communications and marketing sequences.

What you will do:

Build and maintain scalable Dataform projects and modular data models in Google BigQuery to support rapid growth.
Manage business-critical Reverse ETL pipelines via Segment to ensure reliable data flow for customer notifications.
Automate and refine pixel-perfect reporting packs for major enterprise partners to ensure 100% data integrity.

The ideal candidate:

Expertise in a modern data stack including Google BigQuery Dataform Segment and visualization tools like Looker Studio.
Strong background in data modeling as code utilizing Git version control and rigorous code review processes.
Commercial mindset with the ability to translate complex data pipelines into actionable business logic and user experiences.
