Job Summary
When Alfred Fain founded a small Rhode Island tire store in 1924 at the time no one could have predicted how Teknor Apex would become an international custom compounder sought out by companies around the world. Job Requirements:
- Assist in the writing of applicable SOPs and Test Methods.
- Performs applicable laboratory functions with competence and with minimal supervision.
- Makes decisions on acceptability of material.
- Must have a minimum of one year lab experience.
- A B level Technician must have a working knowledge of various laboratory instruments and be capable of interpreting routine data per SOPs.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be available to work overtime as needed
Skills:
- Basic Math Calculations relating to procedures and test results.
- Data entry/logging skills.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- This position requires 1 to 3 years in a Manufacturing or Lab environment
