The position pays up to $34/hour depending on experience.
Role Description:
SRI Telecom is seeking a Distribution Facilities Manager / Electronics Technician to support and oversee technical operations within a high-volume distribution and staging facility. This role blends hands-on electronics and network equipment work with supply chain and facility operations ensuring equipment is properly received staged tested and deployment ready. The position is technical while also supporting day-to-day building operations and workflow efficiency. Includes a small amount of required travel.
Key Tasks:
- Oversee receiving and distribution processes ensuring materials are logged inspected staged and tracked accurately
- Lead hot staging installation testing commissioning and validation of electronics IT and network equipment
- Serve as the on-site technical SME for equipment readiness troubleshooting and quality assurance
- Support day-to-day facility operations including building readiness layout organization and coordination with vendors or service providers
- Develop improve and document testing staging and material flow processes
- Train and support technicians and warehouse staff on equipment handling installation and verification procedures
- Identify and resolve technical or operational issues impacting timelines inventory accuracy or deployments
- Maintain a safe organized and efficient work environment
- Provide regular updates on equipment readiness staging progress and facility performance
- Perform additional duties as required to support operational needs
Skills & Responsibilities:
- 3 years of experience in electronics IT telecom or network equipment installation testing commissioning or validation
- Strong experience in supply chain warehouse distribution or material handling environments
- Solid understanding of hot staging equipment validation and troubleshooting workflows
- Experience working in or supporting technical facilities such as distribution centers data centers headends or similar environments
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with facility and operational responsibilities
- Strong organizational documentation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented dependable and proactive
- Ability to travel periodically; valid passport required
