Target FTE hourly rate: $32$35per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
No on-call rotation
Occasional overtime possible if called in
We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer III to support multiple facilities throughout the South Atlanta area. This role is ideal for a hands-on facilities professional with strong HVAC and electrical expertise who enjoys variety autonomy and working across different sites. You will be responsible for operating maintaining troubleshooting and repairing building systems to ensure safe reliable and efficient facility operations.
Operate maintain monitor and repair mechanical electrical plumbing structural fire/life safety furniture and control systems across multiple facilities.
Travel between assigned sites to ensure building systems are functioning properly and maintained to applicable standards.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance including cleaning inspecting calibrating and replacing components to optimize HVAC and associated equipment performance.
Record system readings analyze performance data and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper operation.
Manage facility services including preventive maintenance programs inventory control purchasing and coordination of contracted maintenance.
Monitor the quality scope and pricing of work performed by external contractors.
Maintain compliance with all safety policies including proper handling storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment; identify safety risks and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct periodic inspections of tools and instrumentation to ensure readiness and accuracy.
Strong HVAC and electrical skills (approximately 90% of the role).
Basic plumbing and general maintenance skills.
Several years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
Proven ability to diagnose mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC system issues and implement effective corrective actions.
EPA 608 Type II Certification required.
EPA 608 Universal Certification required upon conversion to full-time employment (must be obtained within 60 days if not already held).
Valid drivers license and ability to travel between sites.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of trade school or technical education in electrical systems refrigeration or HVAC preferred.
