Location: Kadubisanahalli Bangalore
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable based on performance & business requirements)
Shift Timing: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Mode of Work: Hybrid

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a seasoned and driven Tax Manager to join the Tax Team . This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Indian taxation and accounting who also possess leadership capabilities and team management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage direct and indirect tax compliance activities including GST TDS income tax filings and assessments.
Oversee monthly and annual tax reconciliations audits and financial reporting from a tax perspective.
Work closely with internal stakeholders finance teams and external consultants to manage tax risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Stay updated with Indian tax regulations amendments and implications on business operations.
Lead tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities for tax optimization.
Supervise and mentor a small team ensuring high-quality deliverables and continuous development.
Provide strategic tax advice to business leaders and contribute to business decisions from a tax and compliance viewpoint.

Requirements:

Experience: 5 7 years of experience in Indian taxation and accounting
Leadership: Proven experience as a people manager; ability to lead coach and guide team members
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) CMA or equivalent qualification preferred
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in tax tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience handling audits and tax litigation processes is a plus
