We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher - Preschool - Infant/Toddler to join our educational team. - 9 Hour communication or college coursework
- CPR certification
- ADA certification
- Breastfeeding certification
- Basic Health & Safety
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and encourage exploration.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively creating a positive learning environment that supports child welfare.
- Provide individualized attention to each child including those with special education needs.
- Foster strong relationships with students parents and staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular assessments of childrens progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Organize activities that promote physical emotional and social development through play-based learning.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall preschool curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Classroom teaching experience in an accredited preschool / early childhood facility a plus.
- Experience working with young children in an educational or caregiving setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Skills in special education or experience with children who have diverse needs are highly valued.
- Strong classroom management skills to effectively guide student behavior and engagement.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices including nurturing routines and developmental milestones.
