Job Title : Business Analyst (NYSDOT Tableau GIS Data Migration OBIEE 7 Years Experience)

Location: Albany NY(Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) including the implementation and administration of enterprise asset management systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Minimum two (2) years of direct experience working with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) systems processes or with comparable state transportation agencies.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau Analytics including the design and development of dashboards reports and data visualizations to support transportation and business analytics.
• Demonstrated expertise in data migration specifically migrating legacy Microsoft Access databases to modern enterprise data warehouses and data platforms.
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) including requirements gathering for geospatial data components mapping point-to-location data generating comprehensive reports and documenting asset and condition data within a GIS framework.
• Hands-on experience with Document Management Systems including implementation administration governance and ongoing system support.
• Experience in OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) requirements analysis including gathering documenting and translating business intelligence requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst with agencies and business stakeholders to elicit analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements in accordance with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and the Secure System Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Strong ability to gather organize analyze and quantify data related to customer needs cost-benefit analysis technical feasibility and evaluation of alternative technical solutions.
• Demonstrated capability to translate customer and stakeholder input into actionable insights that support informed decision-making and technical solution design.
• Experience in process modeling and business process improvement including analyzing and synthesizing business requirements identifying patterns and conceptualizing optimized workflows to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Experience in data analysis and data modeling for online transaction processing systems (OLTP) data warehouses and data transformation initiatives using tools such as Oracle Data Modeler.
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear concise and well-structured documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Microsoft Visio.
• Bachelors degree in Business Accounting Information Technology or a related field.
