Job Summary

Operation of Equipment: Operate semi-automatic or automatic capsule filling machines (e.g. Bosch MG2 Capsugel) to fill capsules with precise amounts of powdered or granulated pharmaceutical product ensuring all machine parameters are within quality specifications 1.
Quality Control and Compliance: Perform in-process quality checks (e.g. weight checks visual inspections metal detection) at specified intervals and strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety guidelines 1 2.
Machine Maintenance and Setup: Execute machine setup changeovers for different capsule sizes/products and perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance of the equipment and surrounding production area 1 3.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Accurately complete all batch production records logbooks and associated GMP documentation in a timely manner detailing production activities test results and any deviations 1 3.
Troubleshooting and Teamwork: Monitor machine performance troubleshoot minor operational issues or mechanical faults and collaborate with quality assurance (QA) and maintenance teams to resolve complex problems quickly and efficiently 1 4.
