Job Summary
Hiring: W2 Candidates Only
Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA
Key Responsibilities
-
Design develop and maintain Tableau dashboards reports and scorecards
-
Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into data visualization solutions
-
Connect Tableau to multiple data sources (SQL databases Excel APIs cloud platforms etc.)
-
Optimize dashboard performance and ensure data accuracy
-
Create calculated fields parameters LOD expressions and advanced visualizations
-
Implement data security row-level security and user access controls
-
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for Tableau reports
-
Document dashboards data sources and development standards
-
Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data models and ETL processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
Strong experience with Tableau Desktop Tableau Server and Tableau Online
-
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server Oracle etc.)

Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
-
Experience creating complex calculated fields and LOD expressions
-
Knowledge of performance tuning and best practices in Tableau
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with Power BI or other BI tools

Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)

Understanding of ETL tools (Informatica Talend Alteryx etc.)

Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist Certified Data Analyst etc.)
Education
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or a related field
