Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Mathematics Head of Department (HOD) to lead the Mathematics faculty ensuring high standards of teaching and learning in alignment with CBSE guidelines. The ideal candidate will drive curriculum development mentor teachers and implement effective instructional strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Academic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Mathematics department to uphold high academic standards.
  
• Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with CBSE guidelines and encourage analytical thinking.
  
• Faculty Mentorship: Train and guide Mathematics teachers in instructional methodologies assessment techniques and classroom management.
  
• Student Performance Monitoring: Assess student progress identify learning gaps and implement targeted interventions.
  
• Professional Development: Organize workshops and training sessions for Mathematics faculty to keep them updated with the latest teaching methodologies.
  
• Lesson Planning & Delivery: Oversee lesson planning instructional techniques and evaluation strategies to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads school leadership and parents to foster a strong academic culture.
  
• Extracurricular Activities: Encourage participation in Math Olympiads competitions and enrichment programs.
  
• Classroom Discipline & Policies: Enforce school policies and ensure a disciplined learning environment.
  

Qualifications:

• Master Level: 10 years of teaching experience with a Postgraduate degree in Mathematics and . demonstrating expertise in curriculum planning and instructional leadership.
  
• Developer Level: 12 years of experience with a Postgraduate degree in Mathematics and . or . specializing in Mathematics curriculum development faculty training and academic leadership.
  

Screening Process:

• Written Test: A subject-specific exam to assess proficiency in Mathematics.
  
• Proficiency Test: Evaluation of MS Office skills for academic planning and documentation.
  
• Reading Test: Conducted through Microsoft Teams.
  
• Leadership & Teaching Demonstration: Candidates will showcase leadership and teaching techniques through a mock classroom session.
  

Salary: 30000 - 40000 per month
