ABOUT THE JOB

Join a high-performing telecom engineering team as a DevOps Engineer where you will drive CI/CD automation infrastructure modernization and operational excellence across BSS/OSS systems. You will work on large-scale telecom platforms including billing CRM provisioning and network management while enabling faster releases high availability and resilient operations. This role offers deep exposure to Kubernetes cloud environments automation frameworks monitoring tools and multi-vendor telecom ecosystems in an Agile and DevOps-driven environment.

Role/Position Title: Application Support Specialist for Telecom OSS Inventory

No. Of positions: 1

Language requirements: Finnish (mandatory) English

Qualification requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field

Job Location: Helsinki Finland

Pre-requisite : Candidate should have stayed 3 years in Finland and eligible for security clearance

Key Job Responsibilities:

Monitor application health (APM/logs) triage incidents perform RCA deliver hotfixes and document KEDB/runbooks.

• Coordinate major incident response with NOC/SOC and Logistics Ops.
  

Operate and enhance REST/GraphQL/SOAP integrations between the mobile app and OSS inventory/process core (e.g. resource & service models work orders warehouse movements)

Configure scanning profiles (barcode/QR/RFID) validation rules and business logic for different asset classes (CPE RAN modules optics routers switches).

• Support feature toggles environment configs and release readiness across test/UAT/prod.
  
• Build support tooling (CLI/scripts) for log ingestion replay of failed syncs and bulk corrections
  

Experience & Skills Requirements:

Must have:

Telecom OSS domain knowledge: inventory/resource modeling field operations logistics flows; familiarity with order/fulfilment and service assurance touchpoints

Strong handson in JavaScript and (services integrations) Kotlin

APIs & integration patterns: REST/GraphQL/SOAP webhooks message queues; robust error handling and idempotency.

Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle) for queries tuning and data reconciliation; understanding of NoSQL where applicable

ITIL practices: Incident Problem Change; CAB participation; release/rollback procedures

Good to have:

Experience with TM Forum standards (eTOM/SID/ODA relevant TMF APIs for inventory/order).

Knowledge of Camunda BPM (workflow orchestration) and Elastic Stack (telemetry)

Familiarity with Kubernetes/Docker for support tooling; Ansible/Terraform for infra changes.

Exposure to barcode/RFID hardware ecosystems (Honeywell Zebra) and enterprise MDM/EMM (Intune MobileIron)
