Team Description:
The Wealth Management (WM) Chief Data Office (CDO) sits within the WM Risk organization and strives to find the right balance between risk management and business enablement. WM CDOs mission is to: prevent unauthorized access to or misuse of client sensitive data and assets; abide by relevant privacy laws and regulations; effectively retain retrieve and protect information and records; and mitigate risks caused by inaccurate untimely or incomplete WM data.
The Data Quality Team within WM CDO prioritizes key processes with data quality dependencies identifies the specific data elements underpinning those processes and applies controls to ensure compliance with data quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Data Quality Control Associate you will be at the forefront of executing a significant strategic effort to reduce data quality risk across the WM business. Specifically you will work with business and technology partners to implement technical data quality controls. This role will require you to understand the data flows between systems grasp the unique needs of business stakeholders utilizing data for downstream processes and translate the two into actionable control requirements that you will also help to implement.
Skills Required:
0-3 years of experience in financial services and/or a multi-national company
Bachelors Degree in a related field
Experience in data analysis and report building
Strong written and verbal communications skills and with the ability to lead effective meetings in English
An ownership mindset with the ability to serve as a self-starter and influence colleagues without direct authority
Strong organizational skills attention to detail and a proven track record of project prioritization and execution
Sound judgment with comfort challenging assumptions and escalating project risks and issues
Strong relationship management skills in order to successfully coordinate across various functions and partner teams
Robust problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic
Ability to clearly present ideas and project status to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data cataloging systems (e.g. Collibra)
Experience defining and implementing data quality controls
Experience managing complex projects
Experience leading effective conversations with senior stakeholders
