Position:	Works Supervisor I

Salary:	HK$34070 HK$39485 (HGPS point 13 - 16) per month including Monthly Allowance
	Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority)as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:
1.	Assist the Hospital Mangers on all aspects of supervision of building services work and builders work on site within the contracts and the maintenance of site records.
2.	Assist in the monitoring of labour resources project progress materials and equipment used on site.
3.	Assist in the checking of site measurements of building services works and payments claimed by contractors.
4.	Assist in the checking of the performance and quality of the work done by the contractor.
5.	Assist in the site survey of building services installations when required including submission of proposals for additional alteration or repair works.
6.	Assist in the inspection of testing and commissioning of building services installations.
7.	Assist in the checking of building services operation and maintenance manuals and as-fitted drawings submitted by various contractors.
8.	Assist to follow up defect rectification works with users consultant and contractor.
9.	As on-call officer to handle emergencies / repair services as designated by the supervisors.
10.	Maybe required to perform shift duty and on duty during typhoon / black rainstorm and other emergencies.
11.	Any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:
1.	(a) A Certificate in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent; or
	(b) 5 years of relevant working experience as skilled worker in the field of Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; or
	(c) Completed a recognized Technician Apprenticeship in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2.	At least 3 years site supervisory experience subsequent to fulfilling (1) above.
3.	A knowledge of English and Chinese equivalent to Form 3 (before 2012) / Secondary 3 standard.
4.	Obtained valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).

Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1.	Possess a Certificate in Building Studies will be an advantage.
2.	Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Building Studies / Building Surveying or equivalent.
3.	Possession of supervisory experience.
4.	Registered Electrical Worker with Class A or above.
5.	Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS office (e.g. MS Word MS Excel and other MS Office applications).
6.	Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
7.	Have good knowledge in site safety O&M of building and building services facilities of hospital / healthcare building.
