Permanent Full Time

Work Location: Calgary

In this role youll be the connection point between everyday vehicle owners and our dealershipsourcing evaluating and purchasing inventory directly from the publicorfrom other sources!

What Youll Be Doing:

Purchase from online auction platforms and local in-person auctions
Use public listing sites to find cars that fit with our company needs.
Create new local relationships to acquire inventory
Establish and maintain contact with suppliers and maintain adequate stock levels.
Conduct a valuation process to determine market value negotiate prices and transportation arrangements with sellers/suppliers.
Meet with sellers to negotiate final purchase price while providing excellent customer service.
Work with accounting team for B2C payment.
Ensure delivery and intended disposition.
Assist with remarketing wholesale inventory - maintain accurate inventory counts work with marketing to list units assist in assessing vehicle value maximizing return and time to market.

What were looking for:

A strong performer with excellent attention to detail
Personable and adaptable
Knowledge on reconditioning costs
Daytime evening and weekend availability as needed
Comfortable working in all conditions (indoor and outdoor)
Knowledgeable about vehicle makes and models
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Previous auction experience is preferred
Has experience and has a love for sales buying
Purchasing/Procurement background Wed love to talk
