Job Summary

Amazon Robotics (AR) seeks a talented and motivated Sr. Supply Chain Systems Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Robotics Supply Chain (RSC) team. The TPM will lead the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for RSC and coordinate Supply Chain (NPI Plan Source Procure Deliver) representation into the design to deployment of PLM application. The TPM will support the launch of new modules and system enhancements to meet the organizations growth plan with a higher degree of process automation. The TPM will collaborate with internal customers RSC functional teams business applications product management application and software engineering and infrastructure teams while navigating a fast-paced project environment. The TPM will own the planning and execution for all supply chain execution system launch deliverables across RSC. The TPM will be the single-threaded leader for RSC ERP system and PLM solution design developing technical solutions that scale to growth and solve challenges. The TPM will own the technical planning and project execution in partnership with the AR system technology team for all launch deliverables across RSC.

The TPM must possess the ability to build strong relationships with customers and operate in a dynamic fast-paced environment. This is a large-scope high-visibility role that requires a strong executive presence. The TPM will require a solid understanding of supply chain processes ERP technical system capabilities and associated business utilization (currently utilizing Oracle EBS) and interconnectivity to upstream and downstream applications specifically with PLM business processes and applications. The Sr. TPM role for Supply Chain Systems will own all aspects of the ERP and PLM system in context of Supply Chain business processes and capabilities including data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supply chain be a domain expert able to dive deep into the supply systems and have a strong understanding of supply chain processes.


Key job responsibilities
- Lead RSC technical/ system initiatives and maintain on-time delivery to programs success criteria. Understands system limitations scaling factors boundary conditions and/or the reasons for architectural decisions.
- Utilize strong technical judgement to inform stakeholders of technology and business trade-offs. Has technical judgment; uses it to inform technology and business trade-offs.
- Partner with both IT RSC internal customers to understand current and future system limitations with respect to scaling ERP systems capability. Knows how to decouple dependencies (e.g. SOA best practices) prevents duplicate efforts and collisions/outages
- Prepare and facilitate business requirements documents to ensure RSC customer needs are met through system enhancement.
- Partner with RSC stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications systems and platforms to achieve business objectives. Knows how to make sure engineering teams are focused on the right solutions for the customer and organization. Understands the consequences of short-term solutions and impact on long-term architecture
- Lead large scale ERP systems implementation projects to support supply chain business processes including the associated database management. Capable of holding a technical team to a high standard for both solutions and technical practices.
- Able to influence PLM design by defining supply chain (NPI Plan Source Procure Deliver) requirements as related to critical to supply chain business processes (e.g. ECO/ECN) with ability to articulate implications of alternative designs.
- Able to simplify concurrent project delivery including development and testing processes for projects that cross team boundaries.
- Develop and manage business process mapping process gap identification and gap reconciliation.

About the team
The RSC Program Management for Robotics Supply Chain works across the Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics (FTR) department to enable manufacturing scalability and adaptability to best serve the Amazon Deployment Network. Through strategic thought leadership we evaluate supply constraints across the product portfolio to deliver solutions that optimize resource allocation and maximize customer responsiveness. Our teams holistic and peculiar mindset allows us to develop the manufacturing leaders of tomorrow while delivering results for our customers.

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience managing SAP ERP implementation program building supply chain processes and coordinating release schedules

- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Masters degree.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
- APICS Certification is a plus.
- Experience with PLM systems preferred especially Oracle Agile.
- Experience with MES systems preferred especially Proplanner.
- 3 years technical team leadership.
- Multidisciplinary background including IT configuration and business requirement development.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
