RN Director of Subacute
SHIFT:Full-Time
RATE: $36 - $39/hr. (depending on experience) Plus Sign-On-Bonus $7500
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will have a variety of duties including but not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directing coordinating and supervising the activities of all nursing staff engaged in a designated unit
- Authority responsibility and accountability for the overall management of residents in a designated unit
- Responsible for transmitting each units staff concerns to the appropriate department supervisor.
- Maintenance of Resident Care Plans and the overall management of resident care
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York required
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration. Additional education or experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
- Must possess knowledge of state federal and local long-term care regulations.
- Must be flexible punctual professional and reliable
- Strong customer service skills and compassion
