Job Summary

General Description:

Under minimum direction the 9922 Public Service Aide Associate to Professionals performs a variety of duties requiring a high level of responsibility; carries out complex tasks relative to the performance of management functions; carries out complex tasks on a limited basis in direct support of professional level personnel; researches and analyzes data; assists in the implementation of programs and assists in various administrative duties.

Locations:

Public Service Aides will be reporting to various SFPUC locations depending on assignment:

  • Business Services - 525 Golden Gate Avenue SF CA 
  • External Affairs - 525 Golden Gate Avenue SF CA
  • Human Resource Services - 525 Golden Gate Avenue SF CA
  • Hetch Hetchy Water and Power Division - Moccasin CA (140 miles east of SF bay area)
  • Infrastructure - 525 Golden Gate Avenue SF CA
  • Natural Resources and Land Management Division - 505 Paloma Way Sunol CA
  • Water Enterprise - 1657 Rollins Road SF CA
  • Wastewater Enterprise - 750 Phelps Street SF CA
  • Wastewater Enterprise - 3801 Third Street Suite 600 SF CA
  • Power Enterprise - 651 Bryant Street or 525 Golden Gate Avenue SF CA

Qualifications :

Education: 

  • Completion of at least two years of college (Completion of at least 60 semester units or 90 quarter units) from an accredited college or university.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Good public relations skills
  • Good written and verbal communications.
