We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our thriving dental practice in Manchester United this dual role you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and managing front desk operations efficiently.
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients
- Prepare and sterilise dental instruments maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
- Manage the reception area greeting patients and scheduling appointments
- Handle patient enquiries via phone email and in person
- Maintain accurate patient records and update the practice management system
- Process payments and manage financial transactions
- Coordinate with dental laboratories and suppliers as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols
- Contribute to the overall efficient running of the dental practice
Qualifications :
- Dental Nursing qualification (e.g. National Diploma in Dental Nursing)
- Current GDC (General Dental Council) registration
- Previous experience as a dental nurse and/or receptionist is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of dental procedures terminology and infection control protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and general computer skills
- Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuing professional development and staying updated with industry standards
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as required
