Join us in shaping the future of agricultural logistics as our Global Category Manager for Logistics this strategic role youll manage a $250M annual spend portfolio with influence extending to $800M leading procurement strategies across our global logistics operations. Youll partner with global teams and key stakeholders to optimize our logistics network drive innovation and deliver sustainable value while maintaining operational excellence.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute global procurement strategies for logistics aligning with operational goals
- Lead commercial negotiations and strategic partnerships with logistics providers worldwide
- Guide and influence a global team of regional category managers and procurement partners
- Drive standardization and reduce complexity in procurement operations
- Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency
- Champion sustainability initiatives within logistics procurement
- Manage relationships with 4PL partners and oversee performance of the logistics supplier network
- Lead the commercial aspects of global transportation modes and warehouse management
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in logistics operations (warehousing and all modes of transport) and procurement category management
- Proven track record in managing complex service categories and outsourcing
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills in international contexts
- Experience leading global teams in matrix organizations
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of logistics market trends and sustainability practices
- Experience with AI and digital transformation initiatives in supply chain
