Job Summary
About You
You are a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality stable and reliable software products. You thrive in environments where quality ownership automation and continuous improvement are core values. You enjoy reviewing technical specifications designing customer-focused test scenarios and collaborating closely with Product and Development teams to ensure excellence across the entire software lifecycle.
You take pride in writing clean maintainable automation code creating clear documentation and proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
- Strong experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver WebDriverIO and Cypress.
- Experience with API testing and API automation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins GitLab CI or similar).
- Experience or familiarity with mobile testing using Appium.
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git GitHub Bitbucket).
- Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to create and maintain clear structured QA documentation.
- Experience in travel airline or e-commerce platforms. (Nice to have)
- Performance stability or reliability testing experience. (Nice to have)
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Plan analyze design develop execute and maintain manual and automated test scenarios and test data.
- Review and analyze technical and functional specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design implement and execute automated tests for web API and mobile applications.
- Configure and execute customer-focused test scenarios aligned with business requirements.
- Identify document track and report defects clearly and effectively.
- Ensure overall product stability reliability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers Developers and QA team members throughout the SDLC.
- Support the definition and execution of test automation strategies.
- Monitor test execution progress results and exit criteria (Definition of Done).
- Automate the generation and delivery of test progress and summary reports.
- Define track and analyze quality metrics to continuously improve testing effectiveness.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes standards and best practices.
