Your role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our dedicated and supportive team in the Palliative Care Unit.
The hospitals Palliative Care Ward Granada is a 15-bed unit that delivers specialised palliative care to patients with complex needs. The ward is supported by a multidisciplinary team of dedicated nurses medical practitioners and support staff who are specifically trained in pain management and the provision of psychological and emotional support to patients and their families. The unit also provides a calm and comfortable environment ensuring that patients receive high-quality compassionate care throughout their admission.
Part-Time positions are available.
As a Registered Nurse you will:
Assess plans deliver and evaluate patient care seeking support from senior staff as required.
Promote and contribute to effective communication facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
Provide patient education and act as a resource where appropriate.
Supports and supervises staff and students as required and within the scope of nursing practice.
Promotes and contributes to effective communication facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the ward and within the hospital.
Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
All applicants must hold current AHPRA registration. Registered Nurses are expected to demonstrate advanced clinical skills a sound understanding of applicable legislation and standards and the ability to independently assess plan and manage complex patient care.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities well-developed clinical judgement and a commitment to leadership quality improvement and ongoing professional development. Excellent communication skills a collaborative team approach and a strong dedication to patient care and safety are essential.

We can offer you
Salary: $82945 to $106630 per annum (pro-rata) plus 12% superannuation
Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time positions
