Job Summary
The base salary for this position is $36.37 hourly.
The Golf Course Mechanic inspects adjusts diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects of all equipment assigned to the department. Duties include sharpening and height adjustments of all cutting units general overhaul and maintenance of motors/small engines prepares requisitions and orders parts/supplies required to perform such repairs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated possess effective computer skills and will complete assignments efficiently. Previous related experience is required.
Qualifications :
Education
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have a valid Hawaii State drivers license.
Experience
- Experience and knowledge in repairs of small rotary mowers and hand-held equipment and electrical circuitry.
- Golf course mechanic experience in grinding sharpening and adjusting reel mowers is preferred.
Other
Must have a background and certification in factory-supervised training.
