Job Summary
Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner in Toledo OH!
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Toledo Ohio. This practice specializes in cardiothoracic surgery providing care in various settings including inpatient post-operative floors and the ICU. Our facility is committed to delivering high-quality compassionate care to our patients supported by a team of experienced professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care including diagnosing and treating illnesses.
- Perform suture removal and pre-operative physical exams.
- Order and interpret tests write prescriptions and coordinate patient care.
- Care for adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting.
- Work autonomously while receiving regular support from a supervising physician.
- Maintain a call schedule with a ratio of 1:3 averaging 10 days of call/month.
- Use the EPIC documentation system for accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio.
- Certification from ANCC or AANP.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Comprehensive training and experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
- 100% clean background check; no exceptions.
- NPDB self-query report.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active RN and NP licenses in the state of Ohio.
- ANCC or AANP certification is mandatory.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
