This contract position is on-site providing an excellent opportunity for medical professionals to engage in impactful patient care within a collaborative environment.
In the role of Locum MD you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality radiological services ensuring accurate diagnosis and patient management. You will work closely with our dedicated healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to various diagnostic imaging projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays MRIs and CT scans
- Interpret radiological images and provide accurate reports
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging results
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on radiological practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology and medical technology
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) with a specialization in Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Experience in diagnostic imaging and radiological procedures
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Daily Volume: 6-10 cases
Required Procedures: Image-guided biopsies and drainages lumbar punctures myelograms thoracentesis paracentesis arthrograms and joint aspirations and injections
Must be board-certified
