Job Summary
Cathedral is seeking a dynamic religion teacher to join our community for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. Teacher assigned full time course load of 5 classes that may range from grade course pathway is:Grade 7 - Intro to ChurchGrade 8 - Intro to Faith & ChristianityGrade 9 - Old TestamentGrade 10 - New TestamentGrade 11 - Catholic Social TeachingGrade 12 - People of FaithCandidates should expect to:- Develop rigorous standards-aligned lessons that center scholars as thinkers and problem solvers through authentic meaningful tasks.- Believe deeply in the ability of all scholars to learn and design instruction that encourages growth mindset productive struggle and student ownership.- Cultivate a safe inclusive classroom culture grounded in strong relationships and a shared commitment to learning.- Participate in and contribute to all professional meetings duties and obligations- Communicate on a regular basis with colleagues scholars and their families
