Job Summary
Position: Offshore Safety Officer
Job Location: Offshore (Rotation)
Rotation Cycle: 90 days ON / 7 days OFF
(Note: Rotation off days are unpaid)
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas offshore HSE standards and procedures
Conduct toolbox talks safety inductions and risk assessments
Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to permit-to-work systems
Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions
Carry out site safety inspections and audits
Report incidents near misses and unsafe conditions
Support emergency response drills and safety training
Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reports
Working Conditions:
Working Hours: 12 hours per day 7 days a week
Overtime: Applicable beyond normal hours subject to approved timesheets
Food & Accommodation (During Transit): Provided by the company
Air Ticket: Annual vacation ticket after completing 11 months of duty
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant qualification in Safety / HSE / Engineering
Mandatory Oil & Gas offshore experience
Valid offshore and onshore safety certifications/cards
Medically fit for offshore operations
