As a LTC RN your day is about more than tasksits about leadership in care. Youll assess evolving needs develop and implement individualized care plans administer medications and therapies monitor vitals and respond swiftly to any changes in condition. Youll coordinate with physicians therapists social workers and families to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home or to longterm comfort. Youll document clearly in electronic health records advocate for safety fall prevention pain management wound care and continence care and youll mentor nursing assistants to uphold high standards of practice. The role offers a robust pathway for growth through specialty certifications leadership tracks and opportunities to lead care coordination initiatives infection control efforts and quality improvement projects. Compensation reflects the value of your skills with weekly pay between $1400 and $1502 and a comprehensive package designed to reduce barriers to addition to competitive pay you can expect a bonus program and housing assistance that eases relocation or temporary housing needs.
