As a Locum CRNA you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the overall effectiveness of our anesthesiology services. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care provided
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery for patients
- Stay current with best practices in anesthesia and patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current certification as a CRNA
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Experience in a variety of surgical settings is a plus
Schedule: 8 10 or 12-hour shifts Monday-Friday
No call shifts
Setting: OR and outpatient surgery center
Patient Volume: 10 per day
23 total ORs
Cases: Bread & butter GI plastics orthopedics gyn
Must be comfortable with high-acuity GI cases
Care team model medically directed
EMR: Epic
Paid travel & expenses
