Position:Inpatient PRN/Weekend Psychiatrist Moonlighting

Location:Austin TX 78745

Located in vibrant South Austin TexasAustin Oaks Hospitalis an 80-bed freestanding behavioral health facility dedicated to delivering compassionate patient-focused care. Were seeking a passionate Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team and make a lasting impact on the lives of adults in need.

Inpatient programs for adults ages 18
Specialized services for Womens Wellness and Addiction/Detox
Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) & Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

Position Details:

Inpatient Part-Time or Moonlighting coverage needed.
Shifts available: Weekend rounding evening call (phone only) occasional holidays or weekday coverage gaps.
Patient population: Adult or adolescents.
Rounding shifts are 100% in-person (no telehealth).
Compensation: Fee-for-service 1099 hourly or shift-rates available.

Qualifications:

Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited program (required).
Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Psychiatry (required).
Licensure: Current Texas medical license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
Credentialing: Must meet hospital credentialing requirements.
