Mail Production Machine Operator
Shift Options:
1st Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
3rd Shift: SundayFriday 10:00 PM 6:30 AM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Mail Production Machine Operator to support high-volume mailing operations. This role focuses on operating and monitoring automated mail-processing equipment to ensure accuracy quality and on-time completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate automated folding inserting and sorting equipment
Set up machines based on job specifications and production schedules
Perform quality checks to ensure correct folding inserting and document accuracy
Prepare completed mail jobs for postal delivery with required documentation
Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
Perform routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting of equipment
Communicate production or quality issues to leadership
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials
Keep work areas clean organized and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications:
12 years of machine operation or production experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Basic mechanical aptitude
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior mail processing or inserter experience is a plus
