What We Do
At Heat Geek we are tackling the UKs biggest carbon contributor: home heating. 20% of all UK carbon emissions stems from residential temperature regulation and that contribution percentage is even bigger on a global scale. At Heat Geek we are changing that. By revolutionising the installation process using technology we are getting more heat pumps into homes and slashing carbon emissions in the process - we are on track to preventkg of carbon from entering our atmosphere by February and we wont stop there!

Your mission
Our Heat Geek community is excited to bring fourOperations and Compliance Associates into our team. We install hundreds of heat pumps per month across the UK. Every installation requires a precise set of compliance checks documentation steps and coordination tasks to ensure quality efficiency and regulatory adherence. We need you to take ownership of a defined set of tasks within the installation workflow. You will become an expert in your specific task cluster ensuring every job moves smoothly through our pipeline with high accuracy.
This is a role for someone who enjoys structured work detail consistency and spotting process issues and who takes pride in getting things right every time. While the work follows clear rules we are still an early-stage company which means youll also need to be comfortable learning adapting and helping us improve how things run.

Role Outputs
You will be trained to own 12 specific task clusters within our installation workflow. These may include:

- Completing and submitting heat pump compliance forms (MCS DNO warranties etc.)
- Gathering checking and uploading installer documentation
- Validating data for accuracy and completeness
- Following defined workflows with high precision
- Moving jobs through internal workflow stages
- Identifying blockers and ensuring missing information is chased
- Keeping internal systems and job statuses accurate and up to date
- Conducting spot checks on installer submissions
- Ensuring all required evidence is available before approval
- Flagging recurring issues for process improvement
- Identifying when work deviates from the happy path and escalating appropriately
- Working with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Contributing to improvement of documentation and playbooks
Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive structured tasks
- Experience in process-heavy or compliance-based roles such as:
- Insurance processing Mortgage/Conveyancing admin Financial services operations Logistics operations Utilities/Energy admin Warranty or claims processing or other similar spaces
- Confident working with digital workflows internal systems and spreadsheets
- Strong written communication
- Comfort with an ambiguous environment
- Experience in renewable energy construction engineering or utilities
- Familiarity with MCS DNO or other regulatory frameworks
- Experience working in a startup or growth environment
