Our client is recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Ireland (Dublin and Region) for a 2 Year Contract. Duties & Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates managing budgets overseeing tendering processes and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project teams to provide accurate financial reporting identify cost-saving opportunities and support the delivery of projects on time and within budget.

* Analyse documentation to prepare time cost materials and labour costs vs estimates
* All quantity surveying duties including measurements valuation and agreement of work sections
* Experience in project management
*Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Competent in all forms of estimating packages Microsoft Excel and Word
* Consult with clients vendors personnel in other department or Construction Manager/Supervisors to discuss cost
* Monitor cost from subcontractors explore variances managing issues in conjunction with manager
* Reports on actualcosts and examines estimates used by management for purpose such as planning organising and schedule work
* Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project
Assess cost effectiveness of products projects or services tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
* Set up cost monitoringand reporting system and procedures
* Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost date to be effective on cost reduction
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying is non-negotiable
- 8 years of experience in quantity surveying Residential
- Strong understanding of high-end residential construction processes
- Proven track record in cost control project management and business operations
- Software: Proficient in Candy/Buildsoft/WinQS/ Cubit would be preferential
- Ability to price and estimate project
- Ability to agree final accounts negotiations with b-contractors
- Constractual knowledge and understanding covering RIAI PWC and related bespoke contracts
- Valid drivers license
- Valid Passport
- Well-spoken in English
- No Criminal Record
